Dr. Chang Peng is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering at ShanghaiTech University. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Florida, USA (2014-2018). After that, he was a Postdoc Research Scholar at the North Carolina State University, USA (2018-2021). His postdoctoral training is under the supervision of Prof. Xiaoning Jiang, who is an expert in the field of ultrasound transducers for biomedical applications. He joined ShanghaiTech as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in July 2021. His research interests mainly focus on the development of ultrasonic transducers for medical applications, intravascular ultrasound imaging, and deep vein sonothrombolysis.
Dr. Peng has been published more than 30 papers, including 14 first-author peer reviewed papers in top-level international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, Energy, and IEEE Sensors Journal. He is also the author of 1 book chapter, 4 invited review publications, 3 applied US Patents, and 2 issued Chinese Patents. Dr. Peng serves as topic editor of Actuators and Materials.
